Looking For
Sweet Love

This has been an interesting couple of years built on a labor of love, and doing the Black Coffee project was the best. When I did the Black Coffee photo shoot and video for the book cover and trailer, it was interesting to find out that the models (in their own lives) had or were experiencing the same issues as the characters in the book. That, in itself, made this project much more meaningful—art imitating lifewho could ask for more.

So pull up a chair, grab a cup of your favorite JOE, and take a sip of . . . Black Coffee.

Set around the infamous Dallas, Texas, radio station K103.5, Jessie Simone Harris, a successful on-the-fast-track director of marketing for DataComm International, has agreed to spend six months of her life, along with five of her closest friends, on the drama filled talk show, The Love Forum.

Known as the Love Forum Ladies; Jessie, V, Pat, Brit, Darlene, DeDe, and the Forum’s ultra-divafied host, Melissa Morgan, explore and discuss love and relationships amidst Dallas’ scorching dating scene, and with the help of The Love Forum, Jessie begins her journey to find true love. Go There!

In 2010, the Divas had their say. Which road are you travelling?

Welcome. R.L.

The Love Forum is back, and the relationship dilemmas continue within the infamous Dallas, Texas, urban radio station, K103.5. DK “Love” Niles, the popular Disc Jockey from the DK and Melissa Morning Show, takes over the reins of hosting the new Love Forum called The Brothers Speak; and man, are the Brothas talking.

If you thought the Love Forum Ladies were dealing with issues, you may be surprised at what the brothers have to say about those relationship woes. In the end–when all is said and done–one Diva will be asking, “Am I drinking the right cup of Black Coffee?”
